Meppadi
Meppadi is an important place on the Kozhikode-Ooty State Highway. Chembra peak, the highest hill in Wayanad, is near this town.Amongst the places of interest nearby are waterfalls, Pookot lake and Edakkal caves. The area offers great walks and hikes which can be arranged through the homestay.
