Itinerary
Day 1, BANGALORE
Arrive at Bangalore where you are met and transferred to your hotel.
Bangalore, now known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of Karnataka in south India. Bangalore is a city of salubrious climate, and always bubbling with life and energy, representing a potpourri of people and culture.
Day 2, BANGALORE
Today you can enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Bangalore. The Assembly Building, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, the Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Cave Temple, the 16th century Bull Temple and the Kempe Gowda Fort are some of the main attractions of Bangalore.
The Lallbagh Gardens form one of India’s most beautiful botanical gardens. The park was laid out in the 18th century by Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan who brought rare trees from far off places. It now contains many labelled centuries-old trees, one of India’s largest collections of rare tropical and subtropical plants, and a glasshouse modelled on London’s Crystal Palace.
Day 3, BANGALORE
Today your tour ends after breakfast. You can take an overnight train to Hospet to visit Magnificent Hampi. Alternatively, you can travel to Tamil Nadu to follow the Temple Trail. Feel free to ask one of our travel specialists.
