Goa - Chic on the Beach
One of Goa’s best beaches is Ashwem in the far north. Here, you still have miles of empty soft sandy beaches, palm trees and casuarina groves. This is how Goa used to be a few decades ago.
In a hidden piece of the beach is our ultra-stylish beach resort. The resort is located in an old palm grove, so is forever dappled in sun. Light green bananas and colourful heleconia plants line the path as you walk to the beach.
Itinerary
Day 1, Goa
You’ll be collected from the airport and transferred to Yab Yum Resort near Ashvem Beach in North Goa.
Days 2-3, Ashvem Beach, North Goa
Palm covered domes interlink to make for an imaginative bedroom with attached facilities. Windows and skylights allow the sea breezes in the room. More cooling is provided by electric fans.
The beds are large sized and have romantic canopies of netting. The rooms are spacious enough to have some lounging benches. The bathrooms have hot and cold running water with delightful rain showers.
The dining area is a palm thatched pavilion overlooking the vast beach and the sea. Much of the food is produced on the resort’s own eco-farm a short drive away. With its exciting shapes and colours, the resort has its own unique style that defies label. This may well be the most memorable beach resort you have ever been to.
Day 4, Onwards from Goa
Your stay ends after breakfast. You will receive a departure transport to the airport to connect with your onward travel.
