Itinerary
Day 1, Delhi
Arrive at Delhi where you are met and transferred to your hotel near the airport. It’s great to see someone waiting for you at the airport and to be whisked away by your private driver to a comfortable hotel.

Day 2, Delhi to Samode
A few hours drive south of Delhi is a small village nestled among rugged hills where cobbled narrow streets curve up till you pass through massive arched gates to the fairytale Samode Palace. This superbly restored eighteenth-century palace was put on the map by its starring role in the 1984 mini-series `The Far Pavilions’. The Samode palace has several frescoes - original and also newly redone, in many of its public areas. The Durbar Hall here is of special note, with its wall to ceiling frescoes and mirror work.

Day 3, Samode to Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur, popularly known as the `pink city’. Afternoon Jaipur city tour including the City Palace & Museum, the Observatory and the Hawa Mahal.

Day 4, Onwards from Jaipur
After breakfast on the last day of your tour, the module comes to an end. Jaipur is a perfect starting point for other trips into Rajasthan. You can now choose to move on to Essential Rajasthan or take The Road to Agra or the Tigers & the Taj module to see the Taj Mahal.
